The Arizona apartment industry honored its best last night when, before a record crowd of over 1,300 persons, the Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA) presented 16 awards to properties and individuals who “achieved a standard of unqualified excellence” in their respective categories. Judges for the 16th Annual AMA/Cox Communications Tributes Awards considered several factors during the judging process of the team and individual award nominees, including: professional presentation, industry experience, industry education, problem-solving capabilities and impact on property. Winning the developer’s award for best community design built 2006-2007 was Grigio at Tempe Town Lake, Gray Clow Residential, LLC. The AMA/Cox Communications Tributes Awards were part of the AMA’s annual Phoenix Education Conference and Trade Show held May 21-22 at the Phoenix Convention Center. Over 1,000 apartment professionals attended education seminars and workshops on industry and career-related topics.
